Mit einem Input-Boolean kann man in Home Assistant zum Beispiel für Automatisierungen Zustände definieren, anhand derer sich die Automatisierung anders als üblich verhält. Ein Beispiel hierfür ist der Urlaubsmodus, der im Frontend dank des Input-Boolean bequem ein- und ausgeschaltet werden kann.
